Sofia Dam has joined Darebin Enterprise Centre Limited as a trainee under the Australian Government Structure Training Program. Sofia has a Masters of Public Policy/Economic Development and a Bachelor of Arts degree in foreign languages. She has worked as a business counselor and project leader at Business Incubators in Vietnam. She is well networked across Asia and has attended training at Incubators in Seoul (Republic of Korea), Shanghai (China) and Coimbatore (India). She has also worked on a number of IndoDev (World Bank) projects. She came highly recommended by Julian Webb (CREEDA Projects, ex-Incubator manager in ACT, and Vice President BIIA).
Sofia will be working at the Darebin Enterprise Centre and ArtDECL for six months in the role of business support. She will be undertaking a structured training program, which includes learning how to write business plans for both client businesses and business incubators.
